Black pepper is native to south India, and is extensively cultivated there and elsewhere in tropical regions Kerala is the major producer and exporter of this most exotic spice.Black Pepper is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. Pepper is also used as a stimulant and is used a carminative to treat digestive and gastric ailments.
